Such a special opportunity last week to connect with the heart of the research and visit the Te Puni building! 🏢
This building, instrumented by GeoNet (12 seismic sensors!) since it was completed in 2009, is invaluable for earthquake engineering research.
We will also investigate if/how engineering models informed by seismology can reduce floor amplification uncertainties.
