Grateful to my Samoan colleagues from the Samoa Meteorological Division (SMD) Geoscience Unit for taking me to one of their seismic stations. Very insightful visit! Regular maintenance visits are required to reduce impacts from intense weather conditions and nature’s constantly trying to take over critical infrastructures!
