Grateful to have participated to this meeting again after over a decade! 17,000+ participants is overwhelming but managed to cross paths with some very familiar kiwi colleagues ! Many inspiring seismology presentations on ground motion predictions, earthquake early warning and Distributed Acoustic Sensing (also known as DAS; using fiber optic cables to capture small ground vibrations; very exciting and promising applications for seismology).
